Suffering from low water pressure?
Many properties in the UK suffer from poor water pressure leading to a disappointing shower experience or an overall slow filling of tanks, and baths. This can be resolved by fitting water booster pumps.
Shower or Whole House Pump
There are still many millions of UK properties whose hot water is supplied through gravity fed water stored in loft tanks and heated via a hot water cylinder in an airing cupboard. Whilst this was ok to fill a bath, in modern properties where there are multiple bathrooms or a preference for showers, this system does not perform well. To overcome this, gravity boosting pumps that can boost the pressure and flow to one or multiple showers or indeed to all hot water outlets in the property are available.
Mains Booster Pump
HomeBoost is an intelligent inline mains booster pump. It will boost the incoming mains water supply to the whole house to 12 litres per minute, overcoming the issue of poor mains performance and works well in pressurised environments and alongside combi-boilers and pressurised hot water cylinders.
It recognises when pressure and flow are low and quietly boosts the performance of the incoming mains water, either directly or indirectly via the combination boiler, up to 12 litres per minute.
AccuBoost is a pumped accumulator that offers an excellent solution when your incoming mains flow is below 12ltr/min and/or the static pressure is below 2.0 bar. This pump will always maintain 12 litres per minute This solution improves on the HomeBoost pump by storing a reserve of water in tanks that can provide extra flow which is replenished when the hot water outlets are turned off. Different sized tanks can be provided to meet your needs.

Single Oulet Pump
Sometimes it is not possible to boost the whole house, but it may be appropriate to boost a single outlet. TapBoost from Salamander and SP2B from Flowflex are ideal solutions for more discrete applications.
